Miami Beach, FL – Remix Hotel Miami, presented by Beatport with Premier Technology Partner Apple, has finalized its highly anticipated lineup of talent during the nation’s leading music technology showcase, taking place from Thursday, March 27 to Sunday, March 30 at The National Hotel, 1677 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139, from 3 to 9 p.m. daily. General admission is FREE with advance or on-site registration that gives access to all Remix Hotel Technology Partner exhibits, Beatport Pool Parties, and a free three-month trial subscription to the digital magazine of choice: Remix, Mix or EM magazine.

Premier Technology Partner Apple will host daily VIP guest appearances, including Talib Kweli, A-Trak, Switch, Steve Angello and Josh Gabriel, among others. A slew of other leading electronic-music icons will also be on-hand to test-drive the latest gear, including Frankie Bones, Hi-Tek, Reid Speed, King Britt, Dirty South, Junior Sanchez, Faust & Shortee, Stryke, Sharkey, Ida Engberg and Hanna, as well as remixer and engineer Vincent di Pasquale, who will give a live mix session throughout the Remix Hotel weekend. World-renowned and internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Paul van Dyk will kick off this year’s Remix Hotel Miami with an exclusive keynote Q&A session on Thursday, March 27. Doors will open at 2 p.m., with the interview commencing at 3 p.m., hosted by Remix Editor Kylee Swenson, who will be asking questions submitted by readers and fans to remixeditorial@remixmag.com.

The buzz on the beach this week centers around the daily Beatport Pool Parties featuring poolside sets and artist performances by some of today’s leading DJs and producers. On Thursday, March 27, catch afternoon performances by Nic Fanciulli, DJ Dan and the renowned electronic mastermind of James Zabiela, among others. On Friday, March 28, highlights include DJ sets by Anja Schneider, Dubfire & Davide Squillace, Heidi and M.A.N.D.Y.. Saturday, March 29, is expected to be a major crowd pleaser, so arrive early for musical journeys by Richie Hawtin, Guy Gerber, Flash Brothers and Bad Boy Bill, to name a few.  Remix Hotel Miami brings you an eclectic finale on Sunday, March 30 with sets by Starkillers (Nick Terranova), Kaskade, Gabriel & Dresden and Richard Vission, who will conclude Beatport’s balearic lineup. Heavyweights Sony and Microsoft will host the official opening-night afterparty on Thursday evening at The National, with performances by Richard Devine, Eclectic Method, Carmen Rizzo and DJ Papi Love. Red Bull on the Move will be traveling to Miami to cover a diverse mix of artists and events—including a two-week feature on Remix Hotel. Red Bull on the Move is a weekly show on XM Satellite Radio’s channel 80, The Move. Each month, hosts Luis Baro and Mason Rothert travel to different festivals or cities to showcase the emerging sounds of global dance culture. The show features interviews, exclusive tracks and unreleased mixes straight from the artists. The show broadcasts every Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. EST on XM Radio’s channel 80 and then again on Sundays from 5 to 7 p.m. EST. Miambient—the international convergence of ambient, downtempo and visual music, will host an Official Remix Hotel Miami Afterparty each day, a great Miami Holiday. Concurrent with the intensity of Winter Music Conference week and Remix Hotel Miami, it offers an oasis of music, visuals and inspiration with an international lineup of artists, DJs and VJs set amid state-of-the-art facilities. Miambient will take place daily at The Standard Hotel and Spa, 40 Island Ave., Miami Beach from March 26 through March 30, from 2 p.m. to midnight.
